Beauty: Ciracle Mela Control Day Cream SPF 32 PA++ Review

I finally have the chance to review this product I got from a Wish Trend package that I won from Yellowycream's YT giveaway a while back. Out of all the products that came in the package, I've used the Ciracle Mela Control Day Cream the most. I needed a lightweight sunscreen and this fit the bill perfectly!

Ciracle Mela Control Day Cream SPF 32 PA++ (1290php --
Available in Watsons)
"Mela Control Day Cream is a gentle 2-in-1 day cream formula  designed
to protect the skin from the sun’s damaging rays, while doubling up as a
moisturiser. It helps to keep skin soft,  smooth and protected for any season."
Packaging

I don't have anything against the packaging. It comes in a tube and a shiny metal screw top.  Since the tube is quite flat, it doesn't take up too much space in my makeup bag and it isn't difficult to squeeze either.

The "snout" is also pointed so you can control the amount of product you want to dispense. Believe me, you don't need a lot for your face.

Swatches

Upon applying on my skin, it felt very light and easy to blend. It's also easily absorbed by my skin although I would give my face a few pats just to be sure.

I used to think this was just a sunscreen. The cream itself looked like a regular sunscreen and I didn't know it was a moisturizer... until I felt it.

I don't usually wear moisturizers but I noticed it prevented my skin from drying during my stay in Korea. It was autumn back then so it was significantly cold. It was the only thing I would slather on my face and I never complained about my face drying up so it's really great!

Just to show you how glorious my skin looked before.
I only had Ciracle on my face and lip balm.
I still use this back in the Philippines and since the weather is the complete opposite, I find its sunscreen properties more helpful. SPF 32 PA++ is enough for a daily sunscreen and it doesn't feel greasy like regular sunscreens at all.

That added "PA++" also helps in protecting your face from UVA rays and based from coolsuncare.com
"UVA rays penetrate deep into the dermis, the skin’s thickest layer. Unprotected exposure can lead to premature skin aging and suppression of the immune system. And when your skin’s defenses are down, you’re at risk for skin cancer."

I also love that it dries semi-matte which is perfect for oily skin people like myself. I don't mind the extra dewey look because plus the subtle brightening effect, it makes my face look healthier.

If you're receiving treatments from a dermatologist like I am right now, I would recommend a higher SPF than this one since your skin is more sensitive to the sun. Nonetheless, this product is great for everyday use and I would recommend it even for people with acne-prone and sensitive skin.

Overall, this is my HG sunscreen and moisturizer all in one product. I rarely find products that really work for my extremely oily skin and this definitely delivered. I've had mine for more than a year now and I'm probably close to finishing it. Once my skin gets better, I look forward to using this again!

I was surprised to find out that Ciracle was available locally. Check out their official website or their official Facebook Page to find more about this brand and their products.

You can also check Wish Trend's official website where I originally got it from for more Korean skincare products like this.
